This cottonwood was over 3 1/2’ in diameter at the base where it had split in a storm.  It was very close to the side of the house and branches were even touching the roof.  The tree was absolutely massive.  To put it in perspective, the yellow arrows point at the same part of the tree.

This St. Paul home was destroyed by a huge cottonwood that grew about 10 ft from the house in the August 2007 storms. The family was home, but no one was seriously injured.

We are experienced in large tree removals in hard places, such as this one in Downtown Minneapolis that required a 75-ton crane.
